Massage Therapy
Your massage technician will talk with you to create a massage that best
fits your needs using techniques from Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports,
Lymphatic, Hot stone, and Pre-and-Post Natal.
- Swedish
Massage
A relaxing full body massage, this style uses long flowing strokes for
deep relaxation and increased circulation with a calming effect. Very
effective in relieving muscle pain and fatigue.
- Deep Tissue
Massage
Deep tissue massage is for more focused work to concentrate on a
specific muscle group or joint for a particular pain. More intense than
Swedish to help break down adhesions starting superficially then moving
deeper to avoid unnecessary damage or inflammation to the area.
- Neuromuscular
Therapy (NMT) Massage
This is a great massage for a client who is experiencing muscle spasms
from overuse, a vigorous workout or repetitive use. This massage is used
for soft tissue pain relief by utilizing trigger point therapy.
-
Sports Massage
Not necessarily a relaxing massage, sports massage is used to energize
and rejuvenate tired, achy muscles for the athlete who is training hard.
- Lymphatic
Massage
A relaxing massage to help move and drain lymph by using all basic
massage strokes usually towards the heart. Helps stimulate immune
system.
- Hot Stone Massage
A combination of massage and placement of the heated stones for deep
penetrating heat to help soothe and relax tired, fatigued muscles.
- Pre-Natal Massage
A nurturing experience for both mother and baby. This massage will help
you relax and alleviate pain from the changes your body experiences
during pregnancy. Special pillows and cushions are utilized to provide
you the most comfortable massage possible. Massage is not given during
first trimester.
