Acne Treatment
Rosacea
is a very common benign skin disorder that affects many people of all ages .
The main symptoms of rosacea
include red or pink patches on the face, visible broken blood vessels, small
red bumps, red cysts, and pink or irritated eyes. Most people that have this
disease may not even know they have
rosacea or that it is a
diagnosable and treatable skin condition. People with rosacea may just
assume they blush easily or have gotten sunburned.
Pseudofolliculitis (Razor Bumps) is
most common on the male face, but it can also happen on other parts of the
body where hair is shaved or plucked, especially areas where hair is curly
and the skin is sensitive. After a hair has been shaved, it begins to grow
back. Curly hair tends to curl into the skin instead of straight out the
follicle, leading to an inflammation reaction.
Pseudofolliculitis can make the skin look itchy and red, and in
some cases, it can even look like pimples. These inflamed papules or
pustules can form especially if the area becomes infected.
Acne is a condition
caused by skin cells that do not shed properly and plug pores, causing oil
and bacteria to be trapped inside. As the oil and bacteria accumulates, the
acne on the skin
becomes inflamed and swells outwards forming the familiar whiteheads,
blackheads and pimples. The most common type of
acne shows up on the face, neck, shoulders,
back, and chest. Laser treatment is a very safe and effective way of the
treatment of acne.
